Senior
System
Engineer
- System Architect
Required Technical Skills:
- Requires
experience in software engineering, software architecture analysis, software
development for large complex communications system
- The
candidate should have the ability to write and translate software requirements
into required software architecture
- Previous
work with communication systems and network-messaging framework is required

Experience with middleware software such as CORBA, DCE, MOM, SOSCOE, or SCA a
major plus
- The
ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-task environment with extensive
interfaces
- Strong
software architecture and object oriented design using UML.

Experience with development of FCAPS network management applications software,
data communications software, and wireless networking software.
- Must
have detailed design knowledge of TCP/IP and routing protocols such as OSPF,
BGP, and Mobile Adhoc Networking (MANET).

Extensive knowledge of open source tools and operating systems (i.e. Linux).

Experience with XML based designs.
Required Technical Leadership Skills:
-
Experience with interfacing with customers in a dynamic environment, with
ability to deal with changing requirements.

Experience with formal software development process such a SEI and/or ISO
9000.

Require people oriented skills in team participation. Previous experience
working with large teams a major plus.

Ability to communicate and present/brief technical solutions to peers and
customers is required.
This position will be located at our project office in Carson, California. The
position will be a growth oriented position with excellent future senior
technical or management position opportunities. The selected candidate will be
assigned to work on one of our existing projects for the US Army.
As a minimum we require a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. An
MS degree is highly preferable.
A minimum of 7 years of software development experience is required.
US CITIZENSHIP is mandatory for this position and the candidate must agree to
undergo US Government security clearance procedures which include an extensive
background investigation.
