Senior Software
System Engineer
Required
Technical Skills:
-
The selected candidate will be assigned to
work on one of our existing projects for the US Army as a System Engineer in
the Wireless Mobile Networking area.
-
Areas of expertise required for this
position are communications and networking services including mobile adhoc
networking protocols, network management, mobility management, Dynamic DNS,
Quality of Service, Bandwidth Management, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP),
FCAPS, Web Services, routing and switching protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MANET
and directory services such as LDAP and TCP/IP based networks.

Experience with design of Information
Security and Information Assurance architectures.

Experience with development of FCAPS network management systems, data
communications and wireless networking.

Strong architecture and object oriented design and modeling skills using UML.

The responsibilities for this position
include requirements analysis of the problem and coming up with innovative
solutions. The candidate must be able to develop and model various
architecture solutions and present to the customers in the form of white
papers, presentations and discussions.
Required Technical Leadership Skills:
-
Experience with interfacing with customers in a dynamic environment, with
ability to deal with changing requirements.

Require people oriented skills in team participation. Previous experience
working with large teams a major plus.

Ability to communicate and present/brief technical solutions is required.
This position will be located at our project office in Carson, California. The
position will be a growth oriented position with excellent future senior
technical or management position opportunities. The selected candidate will be
assigned to work on one of our existing projects for the US Army.
As a minimum we require a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. An
MS or PhD degree is highly preferable.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience is required.
US CITIZENSHIP is mandatory for this position and the candidate must agree to
undergo US Government security clearance procedures which include an extensive
background investigation.
